Balfour Beatty Fleet Services Chooses Avon
Balfour Beatty Fleet Services has selected Avon tyres as their first choice tyre supplier for their car and van fleet.

Avon Tyres manufactures a range of premium car, 4x4 and van tyres to meet the needs of today’s fleet vehicles. The ZZ3 is designed with high performance vehicles in mind. With its aggressive-looking directional tread pattern, silica-enriched rubber compound for supreme wet weather grip and confidence-inspiring handling characteristics, you can rely on the ZZ3.
The ZV1 is available in both V and H speed ratings. Its aggressive tread pattern not only provides first-rate road-holding in all conditions but its central rib enhances steering response. Low noise levels and long life further add to the value of this high performance tyre.
For 4x4 requirements there are a range of products from the rugged, go-anywhere Rangemaster to the high performance, on-road biased Ranger. The Ranger-H is designed for big, powerful 4x4s that spend most of their time on-road. It features 'Opti-noise' technology for quiet running and has a special sidewall construction to ensure optimum handling and good steering response. Its wet weather road-holding is excellent and the tread pattern is designed to give superb traction.
Balfour Beatty also selected Avon based on the high quality and extreme durability of its van products. The AV10 is designed specifically for car-based and other light vans, ideal for express deliveries. For Transit sized vans there's the AV9. A purpose-designed commercial tyre with added sidewall protection for the inevitable knocks suffered by working vehicles, the AV9 is a hardworking tyre with good load carrying capabilities.
