Cooper Tire Official Tire and Presenting Sponsor

Starting in 2010 for the next four years, Cooper Tire will be the presenting sponsor and exclusive tire supplier of the newly-revived Cooper Tire presents the USF2000 National Championship powered by Mazda. The F2000 will serve as an entry-level, open-wheel training ground for the next generation of professional racers looking for the first step on the ladder to an IndyCar career. For nearly 20 years, F2000 has earned its reputation as the entry-level pro series of choice for career-minded, open-wheel drivers.

Sanctioned by the Indy Racing League (IRL), the F2000 is one of only two series that are part of both the IRL's Road to Indy ladder system and the MAZDASPEED Motorsports driver development program.

Cooper will provide slick and rain tires co-branded COOPER/F2000 for the series' entrants. Up to three sets of tires will be available for purchase per car at each race event, and up to four sets of tires per car will be available at official test dates. Cooper will provide trackside mounting service and tire engineering support at each race and official test.

The company will also present the winner of each race's pole position with $500, which will be called the "Cooper Tires, Don't Give Up a Thing Award."

The schedule for its inaugural 2010 season will offer a schedule of events that includes road courses, street circuits and oval speedways, all geared towards training young drivers on all three types of circuits.
